John "Jack" Walter Ireland was a member of the Verga Fire Company for 46 years having served as Chief, Ca[ptain, Treasurer, and Trustee. He also serve with the US Navy.

GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

Sadly, on July 4, 2008, Jack Ireland passed away at age 76. He was the belobved husband of Gail (Nee Gindhart), a devoted father of Karen Garofalo (Michael) and Alan Rogert, and also a loving grandfather of Michael, David and Kayla Catherine. Jack was a dear brother of Edmund "Reds" (Phyllis) and the late Thelma Kaval. He was survived by many nieces and nephews.
